Microsoft have announced that they will no longer provide updates for Windows 10 - and some of the older builds of Windows 10 have already been withdrawn.

However, it is not all bad news!   Microsoft offer qualifying computers the upgrade for zero additional licensing cost!  Windows 11 is the first major update in seven years, and provided your computer is compatible with Windows 11, then there are many compelling reasons for upgrading - here are just a few of the key benefits:

Upgrading to Windows 11 ensures you receive the latest security patches, features, and improvements (note. Microsoft will offer to extend Windows 10 support, but THEY WILL CHARGE for the priveledge and the costs may be prohibitive (see our Linked-In post)

If you are on the latest build of Windows 10 then you will have until October 2025 before the last version is no longer supported.  However, we recommend you proactively upgrade your compatible computers at the earliest opportunity as you may need to budget for replacement computers that are not compatible with this new operating system.
